YIN YOGA with Chloe Lafollette

Wednesday at 7:15 pm $8

Yin is an excellent complement to your active exercise.

Relax through a series of passive poses with long holds — working deeply within the body to increase overall flexibility. Props are implemented to completely support you as your body stretches. Yin challenges the mind as much as the body, utilizing the breath in this meditative practice to find peace in stillness. No experience is necessary, and all levels are welcome.

Chloe teaches Yin, Hatha, Vinyasa, and Restorative. Practicing yoga since she was 4 years old, she took the next step and underwent 200-hour teacher training in 2016 to expand her knowledge and share her passion with others. Newly relocated to Birmingham, she is excited to help you along your yoga journey.

"Mellow Yoga is a slower-paced environment for enjoying the full range of benefits of hatha yoga without fear of injury or judgment. 
If you are unable to be on the hands and knees, though, please let us recommend a Chair Yoga class on our schedule.

Melody Lake is a graduate of the Birmingham School of Massage and Licensed Massage Therapist with training in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular Therapy, and Thai Yoga Massage. Her primary interest is in helping her clients achieve wellness in body and mind through relaxation so they can enjoy rich, fulfilling, pain free lives.
